1 - Ban Gioc Waterfall
When visitors arrive in Cao Bang, the top land of the country, it is impossible not to find the place with a dreamlike beauty - Ban Gioc waterfall. This is the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia, and it is also the fourth largest waterfall in the world among the bordering waterfalls. So Ban Gioc is well known as the waterfall between Vietnam and China. If viewed from the bottom of the waterfall, the left and the western right half of the waterfall belong to the sovereignty of Vietnam in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province; the eastern half on the right is under Chinese sovereignty.
This address is 20km northeast of Trung Khanh district, 90km from Cao Bang city and about 400km from Hanoi city (along the route of Thai Nguyen - Bac Kan - Cao Bang city). To safely travel to the waterfall, visitors can choose one of two ways: self-travel by motorbike or travel by coach to Ban Gioc waterfall. If tourists go on their own by motorbike, you can follow the most reasonable routes bellow:
- Route 1: Hanoi - Thanh Tri Bridge – the Highway: Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Bac Kan – National Road 3 - Cao Bang Center.
- Route 2: Take National Road 1A: Hanoi - Lang Son (Dong Dang town) then move along National Road 4A to Dong Khe town, then follow provincial road 208 to Hoa Thuan town, go along National Road 3 and road province 206. This road is closer than 50km.
- Road 3: Take National Highway 1A: Hanoi - Lang Son (Dong Dang town) then move along Highway 4A to Dong Khe town, follow provincial road 208 to Hoa Thuan town, then go along Highway 3 and provincial road 206. This road is closer than 50km.
If you choose to travel by coach, you can go to My Dinh coach station or Giap Bat coach station to catch the coach. It takes about 8 to 9 hours to go to Cao Bang. When arriving in Cao Bang, visitors continue to rent a motorbike or taxi to move to Ban Gioc Waterfall.
Ban Gioc waterfall is the best waterfall in Vietnam which is over 30 meters high with large blocks of water flowing down through the limestone layers to form beautiful water layers. The waterfall is divided into 2 parts: main and secondary waterfall. Standing at the foot of the waterfall, visitors will feel a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere created by the mist of water radiating from the waterfall.
There are many tourist activities such as canoeing service to take visitors to the entire waterfall and the forests, fields on the banks of Quay Son; visiting Nguom Ngao cave, Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda, ... In Cao Bang, there are two distinct seasons: rainy and dry seasons. Therefore, choosing a reasonable travel time is very important. The best time for visitors is between August - September. Because this is the time when the waterfall is pouring white foam, the amount of water pouring from the source more makes the waterfall sparkle fanciful. 2 - Bac Waterfall (Silver Waterfall) – in Sapa

Silver Waterfall is a tourist attraction in San Sa Ho commune, Sa Pa district of Lao Cai province. With its location right next to National Road 4D, the main route to Lai Chau province and only about 12 km west of the center of Sa Pa town, it is quite convenient to visit. To move from Sapa town to Thac Bac, it takes about 30 minutes when choosing to go by motorbike or coach.
Silver Waterfall in Sapa is upstream of Muong Hoa stream, located right at the foot of O Quy Ho Pass with an altitude of about 200 meters. Visitors will have to admire it when seeing the waterfall all year round with white foam pouring water into the winding stream creating a very lively sound in the mountains. In addition to taking pictures with the waterfall or rice fields, when exploring the waterfall in Sapa, visitors should visit the salmon-like center at the foot of the waterfall. In general, the weather in Sa Pa all year round is cool; therefore, regardless of the season, Silver waterfall also has its own charms. However, visitors should go during spring or summer, from February to June each year. This is the time when the waterfall flows powerfully. II - Vietnam waterfalls in the Central
1 - Yang Bay Waterfall - in Khanh Hoa
Yang Bay Waterfall is located in Nga Hai village - Khanh Phu - Khanh Vinh - Khanh Hoa, about 50km from Nha Trang city center. Visitors can come here by taxi or motorbike, but self-drive vehicle rental will be more convenient. The way to travel to the waterfall is very easy, from the center of the city, visitors go toward Dien Khanh and follow the new road named Khanh Vinh. Just go straight, after passing through Danh Thanh hot mineral, you will see a signboard leading to Yang Bay waterfall.

2 - Datanla Waterfall - in Lam Dong
Datanla is recommended as a top of the most famous waterfalls in Vietnam when visiting the central highland Datanla Waterfall is located in Ward 3, Da Lat City, Lam Dong, about 4 km from the city center. To travel to the waterfall, visitors can travel by themselves by motorbike or take a taxi towards Prenn Pass.
Datanla, a high and majestic waterfall, every year always has an abundant amount of water flowing from the source to rushing over 20 meters to the bottom to release white foam, next to the death cliff. Below is a very clear stream called the fairy stream (Suoi Than Tien). Coming to Datanla waterfall, visitors will admire the game system here such as trough slide, kayaking, canoeing, High Rope Course, ... For convenience, visitors should come here at the appropriate point and should not arrive in the rainy season. Summer time or from November to March is an ideal time for visitors to visit and experience all the fun activities here.

3 - Elephant Waterfall Vietnam – in Lam Dong
Elephant Waterfall is also known by another name is Lieng Ropoa waterfall or Voi waterfall. It is located in Nam Ban town, Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province and about 20 km from the center of Da Lat city. To get here, we will have to go towards Ta Nung pass. It is easy to find this destination since the waterfall is located right on the DT725.
Elephant Waterfall is one of the largest falls in the Central Highlands, it is 30 meters high and 15 meters wide, seen from a distance, the waterfall is like a very majestic and beautiful white silk strip. Also, the foot of the waterfall is a place that hides a very mysterious cave. That is the Doi (bat) cave, located 50 meters deep above the ground, attracting many tourists to explore. When coming to Elephant waterfall, visitors can take pictures, experience spring bathing and participating in exploring Bat cave. However, because it is easy to slip, the best time to visit is in the summer. 4 - Dambri Waterfall – in Da Lat
Located about 18km from the center of Bao Loc city in the northeast direction, about 100km from Da Lat City and about 200km from Ho Chi Minh City along National Road 20. To get here, visitors can travel by motorbike or taxi in which motorbike is the most popular choice.
Dambri is one of the best waterfalls in Dalat Vietnam is known as the highest waterfall among all the waterfalls in Lam Vien Land with an altitude of up to 90 m. That is the condition for giant blocks of water to pour down day and night for a mysterious and majestic spectacle. Coming to Dambri, visitors not only can admire the waterfall but you can also visit the monkey island, Chau Ma village, Di Da pagoda, the game park ... in the area of Da Ton cultural village. There are also a variety of activities for visitors such as challenges with slides, trams, boating, duck riding ... Dalat is all beautiful in any season but maybe the best time for tourists to visit the waterfall is in summer.

5 - Dray Nur Waterfall - in Dak Lak
Dray Nur waterfall is located in Krong Ana district, Dak Lak. This place is only about 30km from Buon Me Thuot city center, so it is very easy to move. To get here, visitors can travel by motorbike or by bus. If you travel by bus, take the bus no. 13 from Buon Me Thuot city, but if you travel by motorbike, follow the route: Le Duan - To Huu - DT 682.
Dray Nur waterfall is a common waterfall located in a system of 3 waterfalls: Gia Long - Dray Nur - Dray Sap of Serepok river, Dak Nong province. It has a length of over 250m, a height of over 30m, and a stretch of about 150m. Visitors will admire the majestic and poetic scenery when coming. You can not miss the 3-in-1 experience that is cycling - climbing - rowing. Dray Nur Waterfall is beautiful every season but the best time perhaps in summer. So please schedule your arrival time at this time to have the best experience. The ticket price is relatively cheap, only 30,000 VND/ticket (~ 1.3 $) with 1 free cup of coffee.
6 - Dray Sap Waterfall - in Dak Nong
Another beautiful Vietnam waterfall in Dak Nong is the Dray Sap waterfall located in Dak So commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province. This place is not located on tourist roads because the location is quite far from the center of Buon Ma Thuot and not on the national highway. The waterfall is about 30km south of Buon Ma Thuot, and about 11 km north of the center of Dak Mam town - Krong No district. To get there, tourists should depart from Buon Ma Thuot and follow national highway 14 about 20km south to meet Cu Jut junction, turn left into Krong No district, go straight 10 km, you will meet the Welcome gate of Dray Sap Waterfall Tourist Area.
With a height of about 50m, the Dray Sap waterfall stretching 100m is the most beautiful and majestic waterfall in the Central Highlands. At this waterfall, visitors can join the journey to explore the special-use forest and waterfall landscape. You also have the opportunity to mingle with the blue and cool water at the fairy lake to enjoy the unique culture of the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands that no other address brings. The climate at Dray Sap waterfall is characterized by a two-season climate in the Central Highlands with dry and rainy seasons. Therefore, visitors should visit in the dry season, particularly in April to see butterflies flying around the falls as well as watch the cleaner water flow. III - In the South Vietnam
Due to the fact that the terrain is mainly rivers without high mountains, waterfalls in the South are almost non-existent.
