Each season is evenly divided among 3 months of the year: spring (from January to March), summer (from April to June), autumn (from July to September) and winter (from October to December). The weather is favorable for increasing crop yields in the year such as: the winter is suitable for growing cold-loving plants, humid drizzle spring crop facilitates planting seed crops and the dry summer is when the fruit is harvested.

The climate is divided into two regions, and characterized by two separate seasons: the rainy season and the dry season, which might occur in the same period of the year.
- North Central: In winter, strong winds carry water vapor from the sea, so the entire area is cold and rainy. By contrast, in summer, the region is not affected by water vapor from the sea but hot and dry westerly wind from Laos, so the weather is dry and hot and the temperature can rise up to 40 degree Celsius.
- South Central Coast: In winter, the wind is blocked by Bach Ma range so it is not strong, but in summer, the southwest wind blows from the Gulf of Thailand through the Truong Son range, causing hot weather for the entire area.
Referring to Central region of Vietnam, we cannot miss tourist attractions that attract thousands of visitors each year such as:
- Phong Nha Ke Bang - Quang Binh: a cave complex classified as one of the wonders of the world and is famous for Son Doong Cave.
