- Ba Be National Park is known to be home to 600 tree species, 65 species of mammals, 214 species of birds. 46 species of reptiles and 87 species of fish. In which, many are listed in the Red Data Book that need to be preserved. The most prominent is civet, black langur, acacia, etc. The total area of the national park is up to 7,610 hectares.

Specifically, there are numerous valuable wood species such as: chukrasia tabularis, peltophorum tonkinensis, fagraea fragrans, uvaria tonkinensis, etc.,  and many rare animal species such as: Cat Ba langur or White-headed langur. Cuc Phuong National Park, the first national park in Vietnam, was officially opened and has an area of 22,200 ha. This  is the habitat of 1,588 species of plants where Ho Cuc Phuong Ho, Mua Cuc Phuong and Cui Cuc Phuong are 03 endemic plant species only growing in Cuc Phuong National Park.
