5 - T'nung Lake (the Inland Sea) - A famous lake in Pleiku Vietnam
Located in North of Pleiku - an area of the Highland in Vietnam, T'nung Lake name covers an area of up to 2,28 km2. As a result, it is well-known with the name "the Inland Sea". On the other hand, T'nung in the local's language also means "the sea located on the mountain". Besides, this huge lake was recognized as a National Heritage Site in 1988.

Standing over there by T'nung Lake is Bien Ho Che Lake with the beautiful Korea street full of pine trees on both sides of the road. In the surrounding area, there are also Bu Minh Pagoda- one of the oldest pagodas in Gia Lai province, a dormant volcano named Chu Dan Ya, Chu Nam mountain and so on.
6 - Than Tho Lake (Lake of Sighs)
Than Tho Lake is a natural lake that lies to the East of Da Lat city of Lam Dong province. Travelers can go there from the center of Da Lat City, go straight through Quang Trung Street to Phan Chu Trinh Street then Ho Xuan Huong Street. Than Tho Lake can easily be found on the right side of Ho Xuan Huong Street. Its special name results from an unfinished love story caused by the misunderstanding between a young couple. The girl in the story had committed suicide in the lake after hearing that her boyfriend was slayed in a battle. When the boy came back home and heard about that, he could not endure affliction and committed suicide in this Vietnam lake too. However, it's just an old story and there was no evidence proving that story at all. When it comes to the historical record, its name came from the old name set by the French which means "murmur". Besides, Than Tho Lake was recognized as a National Heritage Site in 1999.

This Vietnam lake has the shape of a crescent moon with a total area of 0,25km2 and is covered by Tran Quoc Toan Street. There are two main ways to explain the name of this lake. Some people believe that it was named after Ho Xuan Huong - a famous poetess, meanwhile, others think it has such a name like that due to the delicate fragrance of flowers around the lake in the spring ('Huong' means 'delicate fragrance', Xuan means 'spring').

Ho Xuan Huong Lake gathers most of the famous attractions in Da Lat city including DaLat flower park, Yesin park, Lam Vien Square, Lumiere park, Cam Ly spring, Da Lat Doi Cu golf course, and so on. Some of them are very famous namely Thac Ba Lake in Yen Bai province, Hoa Binh Lake in Hoa Binh province, Dau Lake located in the middle of Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and Tay Ninh province, or Dai Lai Lake in Vinh Phuc province.
- On the other hand, natural lakes came into being by the influence of some natural phenomena like volcanic eruptions or river movements.
