The theater was built in 1898 and is inaugurated on January 1, 1900. In 1998, on the occasion of the 300th birthday of Saigon, the Saigon Opera House was renovated to maintain its original architectural style, with a number of floating decorations and sculptures such as the a goddess statue, flower vines… which were restored and equipped with an art lighting system at night, until 2009, it was completed.
